Fretwork, hand carved shells, gardooning and foliated scroll carving combine with graceful sweeping lines, shaped cases, marble tops and rich burnished brass hardware to reflect the elegance and refinement of a bygone era. The Bedroom offers two striking beds. The graceful, sweeping lines of the sleigh bed are defined by a reeded top supported by a fretwork frieze leading to a field of fancy faced Cathedral Mahogany veneer. Side rails feature fretwork with egg and dart moulding and corner details of hand carved acanthus leaves. Also offered is a stately panel bed with arched and profiled crown molding on the headboard with an inverted shell and acanthus motif. Two raised panels of Cathedral cut Mahogany veneer on the headboard and footboard add dramatic surface interest.
