About our Woods: North Eastern American Red Oak is graded, sawn, graded again, then aged as individually selected boards. Each board is then kiln dried for up to 90 days. Each board is graded again after coming out of the kiln and checked for warps, cracks and splits. The end result is that only the finest quality boards are used for the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum Furniture Collection. About our Finishes: The Solid Quarter Sawn Northern Red Oak pieces have a natural hand rubbed finish which allows the beautiful warm hues and the interesting grain pattern of the Oak to be fully enhanced.
